DAMN Advertising is a digital ad agency that
leads by design in Atlanta, Georgia. I was tasked with creating relevant and on-brand social media campaigns for their social media platforms. The following campaigns were designed for Instagram. Each campaign includes nine posts with graphic/imagery content and engaging copy.

(Not so) Comic Pandemic
This social media campaign was created to tell a story about the events during 2020. Comic Art Styles inspired the idea. Each illustration had an element of storytelling and discovery.

The campaign was inspired by the Greek statues and the ‘meme’ concept—a unit of cultural information spread by imitation.

Fun fact: The first published case of the word meme, dates back to Richard Dawkins’ 1976 book, The Selfish Gene. Dawkins referred to it as a “Mime”—a word derived from Greek that means “that which is imitated.
